With it coming towards the end of July, we’re about halfway through summer. Why not make the most of it by planning days out that even our four-legged friends can enjoy! No matter where you are across the UK, we’ve collated a list of the most popular fun days out to enjoy all year round.

Windermere Lake Cruises

Windermere is a beautiful attraction in the heart of the lake district with lots of festivities to accommodate for the whole family! One of our personal favourites is the Lake Cruises. Hope on one of the pooch friendly cruise ships and take a guided tour on the beautiful islands. If you’re looking to stay for a mini UK break, they have a variety of affordable animal friendly cabins, static caravans and cottages available to book too!

Cotswold Wildlife Park & Gardens

With over 160 acres of parkland, you and your pooches are free to roam the beautiful landscapes. The wildlife park and gardens have become popular to their inclusivity of both four legged friends and family’s making it the best place to go if you’re looking for a spontaneous day out.

Doggie Diner

The Doggie Diner have a diner in both Sunderland and Durham. The diner is a unique experience offering a menu not just for yourself, but also a menu for your dog with pooch friendly recipes from dog birthday cakes to dog friendly drinks!

Durdle Door- Dorset

The Durdle Door in Dorset is a must to visit with you pooch, the natural limestone archway has been featured in several movies and music videos. It’s the only natural site in England listed on the Prestigious World Heritage List making it one to tick off your bucket lists.

Orkney Islands- Scotland

If you’re a lover of history, the Orkney Islands is one not to be missed. Located just off the North of Scotland, it’s home to many Neolithic remains of villages and stone circles. Pawfect for long outdoor strolls and sites to awe for all the family.
